Duties:

• Responsible for posting monthly journals.
• Timely preparation of management accounts
• Manage the budget and forecasting process.
• Timely preparation of balance sheet and income statement reconciliations
• Analyse and provide commentary on monthly results.

Job Experience & Skills Required:
Qualifications:

• CA (SA)

 
Experience:
 

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience within the Financial Services industry (including articles)

• 1 - 2 years post articles experience in a commercial environment

• Insurance accounting would be advantageous

• Financial and management accounting (IFRS) 

• Knowledge of systems and controls, budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
